The Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held on Saturday, 26 September 2026, at 10:00 a.m. BST.  

The Board of Trustees (Council) of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain hereby gives Notice (By-Law 2025:26.2) of the Annual General Meeting 2026 to be held on Saturday 26 September 2026 at 10:00h (BST). The meeting will be held online (By-Law 2025:28.3) and is expected to be of 2 hours duration. 

The Ordinary business of the meeting (By-Law 2025:26.3) shall be to consider and, if thought fit, to approve the audited accounts and balance sheet and the reports of the Board of Trustees and of the auditors; to appoint the Society's auditors and to fix their remuneration; and to announce the appointment of a President Elect and an Elected Trustee. All other Agenda items shall be deemed Special Business (By-Law 2025:26.4).

To attend the AGM, you must register on or before 11 September 2026, 17:00h (BST).

Unable to Attend 

Please exercise your right to attend the AGM or, if unable to attend, please register your proxy. Any Member unable to attend the AGM may give their apologies and confirm nomination of their proxy by email to proxy@rps.org. Proxy shall be held by the President as chair of the meeting (By-Law 2025:28.14). To be valid, apologies and nomination of proxy must be received on or before 11 September 2026, 17:00h (BST).

Any questions concerning the Annual Report and Accounts 2025 should be sent in advance to agm@rps.org to be received no later than 11 September 2026, 17:00h (BST). Additional questions on other aspects of RPS operations may be submitted in advance or via the Zoom webinar during the meeting. Due to time constraints, we cannot guarantee all these will be answered during the AGM.
