Impressions of the Norfolk Coast
A solo exhibition of impressionist and abstract photographs by Dr David Townshend FRPS created along the Norfolk coast.
Rather than simply being traditional photographs recording what you see, these unique images interpret the light and colours, shapes and patterns of landscapes and buildings, boats and moorings.
Using multiple exposure and camera movement techniques, the images convey David’s individual perspective on places, be they grand views or intimate details, iconic subjects or mundane objects. They have been captured in ways that he hopes will surprise and intrigue the viewer, invite you to pause and explore, and perhaps smile when you recognise somewhere you know.
