Get Creative with Glenys Garnett

Event info

Bookings open on Sunday 13th September

Virus permitting our next event is a talk 'Get Creative with Glenys Garnett' BA Hons. The hall at Frodsham is large and social distancing should be achievable.

Glenys lives in Wakefield and can’t remember a time when she didn’t use a camera. She particularly likes to encourage the use of creative thinking and techniques to develop more artistic approaches to creating images. Most of the techniques she uses are not difficult to learn especially if you have a little experience with your camera and some post processing skills. We will spend the morning looking at a variety of the techniques Glenys uses to develop her images with lots of tips on how to approach your photography with a more creative eye. She will also show you how she creates some of her more complex composites.

It is important to come along with an open mind and be prepared to discover your inner creative spark and perhaps leave with some inspiration and a desire to try something different.

Glenys has agreed to judge our 'Bring a Print' competition. Entries can be mounted or unmounted, any size or subject. Just bring one print with the title and your name on the back and hand it in on the day. A trophy will be awarded to the winning entrant.

Lunch will not be included so please bring your own sandwiches. Drinks are for sale at the bar.

PS Don't forget that the clocks went back one hour last night!
