'The Art of Macro' with Tony North DPAGB BPE3* 2nd, APOY 2020

For this meeting we have Tony North who will be giving his talk "The Art of Macro"

"In 'The Art of Macro' I will discuss the 7 challenges of macro photography & how to overcome them, including:

* getting close enough to take a shot

* achieving a fully sharp image

* creating a pleasing background

* composing a beautiful image

Along the way I share my best images of insects in the field, as well as a few other small subjects.

I have been a serious photographer since 2016 when I got my first DSLR and joined my local camera club. I soon focused on macro, and now use a Nikon D500 plus Nikon 105mm lens and 1.4x extender.
