Visual Art North - Photo Walk Morecambe

Meet at the Beach Café for coffee and to introduce ourselves.

We will have a guided walk through the streets and backdrop of Morecambe, taking in such sights as Morecambe Winter Gardens, galleries and art space as well as the Midland Hotel with its Art Deco building and, weather permitting, the opportunity to get up on the roof.

Besides all this, there is an abundant of street focus opportunities, like the Morecambe West End and art wall, which are just a few of the areas we hope to cover on the day.

This is a distance of about 2 plus miles so comfortable footwear and appropriate clothes for the season are advisable.

We will stop for lunch along the way.

Feel free to make the day your own meeting only at the beginning and end of the day for free tea/coffee refreshments.

Everyone will have plenty of opportunity to capture local characteristics of this area.

· Be comfortable. You're going to walk a lot.

· Avoid bright clothes, if you wish to blend in.

· Bring only the absolute essentials.

· Be confident enough to bring only one lens.

· Bring extra batteries.
