Women in Photography Past, Present and Future

Event info

The RPS Women in Photography Group are pleased to be hosting an evening of conversation with Karen Knorr, HonFRPS and Anna Fox, HonFRPS to kickoff International Women's Day and our week of celebrations of the women in photography.

With more than 70 years in photography between them, Karen and Anna will discuss what challenges they faced as women starting out in a male dominated profession.  They will share their insight into how the industry is changing, what catalysts are driving this change and what challenges women of today have to overcome as they develop their photographic careers.  They will also talk about who their key influencers have been and which female photographers have inspired them over the years.  They will take questions from attendees to finish out the evening.

All proceeds from the sale of tickets to this online talk will go towards the new RPS Women in Photography Bursary, created to assist new women graduates in the development of their first photography project.

Ticket sales for this event end at midnight on 5 March, 2022.
