London members of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) were invited to put forward images for this Exhibition in November 2019 showing the variety and quality of their work. As you would expect, a broad spectrum of work was submitted and the images were chosen by vote of the members present at a pre-arranged selection day in November 2019. And the aim of selecting at least one image from each photographer who submitted was met. Here's the link.
The Annual Exhibition gives us the opportunity to showcase just a small selection of the work of London Region members; images represent many genres and styles – from travel to contemporary, from portraiture to street - and much more. The photographers themselves range from those new to the art and practice of photography to those who have attained an ‘FRPS’, the highest level of the Society’s Distinctions: some members work professionally or semi-professionally. Some images are taken on film, others with the latest digital camera.
