Online advisory day: Licentiate Advice

Event info

The Western Distinctions Team invite you to an Online Advisory for those working towards their Licentiate Distinction.

Attending this Advisory day will give you the opportunity to discuss your portfolio with current panel members in a professional but friendly atmosphere.

At this particular event, we will be looking at both digital and print submissions but obviously they will all be reviewed digitally.

Details:

A day open to both members and non-members of the Society,

What are the requirements for Licentiate?

The Distinction ‘Licentiate of The Royal Photographic Society’ is the first level of the RPS’s Distinctions. Licentiate members of The RPS are entitled to use the letters LRPS after their name. The standard is high, but achievable for most dedicated photographers.

Who are the Advisors?

  • Viveca Koh FRPS

What advice will I receive on the day?

All comments made on the day are the opinion of one person, given their extensive experience and knowledge of the distinctions process. However, you should remember that the assessment when made will be based on the results of the assessor’s opinion and discussion. Ultimately it is the applicants/photographer’s responsibility to fulfil the criteria and requirements.

All comments on the day will be based on the assessment criteria.
