Research distinction

'My Cousin Bichonnade', Jacques Henri Lartigue

Members whose interests are in Research can apply for ARPS and FRPS distinctions.

REAP (Research, Education and Application of Photography) has been superseded by the broader Research distinctions which now address both the arts and the sciences.

Dr Michael Hallet's article in the PhotoHistorian (no 184) is the best starting point to understand the requirements.

The https://rps.org/qualifications/research-distinction/ page provides full information on the process.
