Landscape Group Calendar 2025
The Landscape Group is excited to launch our first-ever calendar project.
Many of us have calendars adorning our walls. In this digital age, there is still something reassuring about having inspiring images displayed on a printed calendar that we can admire every month throughout the year. We want to celebrate the incredible images we see from our members on a regular basis by creating our first-ever Landscape Group calendar.

Richard Ellis is an enthusiastic amateur photographer based in Ascot, Berkshire. His main interest is landscape photography, and he is passionate about coastal and island locations.
His work has featured in exhibitions throughout the UK (Edinburgh, York, London and Windsor) as well as in Croatia at Foto Klub Split. He contributed to the 2023 European-Chinese Photographic Art book.
Richard is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and a former Chair of the Landscape Group.

Despite living in the Cotswolds, a long way from the coast, I love being by the sea. I am at my happiest on a deserted beach with my camera and the time to appreciate the beauty of the landscape.
In October 2021 I was delighted to be awarded the first RPS Fellowship in the Photobook genre for my book In the Offing. A handmade book based on a 4 year coastal photographic project. In June 2022 I was appointed to the RPS Distinctions Assessment Team as a panel member for the Photobook genre.
