I live in South Wales, UK, near the beautiful Gower peninsula. The coastline inspires my favourite genre of photography, black & white, and I also enjoy still life compositions. I have been a member of the RPS since November 2023, and have greatly appreciated the workshops and webinars offered.
I joined the newly-formed LRPS Distinctions Support Group in early 2025, and I found the structured ABC assessment criteria incredibly valuable in selecting images that hopefully demonstrated the necessary range of technical, creative and communication skills.
Assembling the panel was the next obstacle, and I sought one-to-one mentoring at that point. David Rutter gave me much-needed and constructive advice on my panel layout, and I passed first time in November 2025. All images © Angela Gisby LRPS
