The World Photography Day 2024 Theme is "An Entire Day"

Call out to all RPS Group, Regional, and International members! World Photography Day is on Monday, August 19th, 2024.

Let's come together to celebrate the art, craft, science, history and storytelling of Photography in a shared online Gallery.

We invite you to join the RPS in sharing a series of photos taken on August 19th to capture an entire day worldwide from as many points of view as possible!

Submissions will be open on August 19th, 2024. For guidance on submitting multiple images, watch the brief video below.

The Rules

Images should be taken on the 19th of August, 2024
Members may submit up to 5 images as a Series.
Before submitting, please resize your images to 2000px wide and rename each file with the series title, your name, and the running order, e.g., My Entire Day by Wendy Smith01.jpg.
Add the title of your Image Series, not the individual image titles.
Project Statement: No longer than 150 words (optional)
Remember to include your RPS Distinction with your name.
The Gallery closes for submissions at midnight (your local time) on the 24th August 2024

How to submit your images video

Terms and Conditions

To participate, you must be a member of The Royal Photographic Society (RPS). Copyright for all submitted work remains with the photographer, and each photographer must warrant that they own the entire copyright in the work.

We reserve the right to display any entry, without payment, on the RPS Group/Region/International webpages, newsletters, magazines, and social media posts. In such cases, the photographer will always be credited. Your photography may be entered for exhibition or inclusion in a photobook. You will always be informed and asked for permission.
