Portfolio Reviews
RPS Distinctions are now offering one-to-one portfolio reviews via Zoom. This means you can have a private, individual session with a panel member, who will be able to see your images and discuss with you the best way forward. This new service covers all Distinction levels and all genres. Apply now.

Exposure competition
Win a Nikon camera! Exposure will run bi-monthly, with a special guest photographer selecting their favourite winning images. Links to this and other competitions can be found here.
Awards
The Society’s Awards are offered annually to individuals who have made significant contributions to the art and science of photography. Members are invited to nominate in the autumn, through the Society’s website.
Resources
As an educational charity, we offer free resources to all those with an interest in photography. These resources include access to the RPS Journal going back to 1853 and an archive of films. Visit here.
International Photography Exhibition
The International Photography Exhibition (IPE) celebrates the best in photography from around the world and selected work from the open-call annually tours the UK. Supported by a UK professional print lab, overseas entrants, if selected, have the benefit of free printing plus guaranteed delivery in time for the selection. Science Photographer of the Year
RPS members get free entry to the Science Photographer of the Year competition. We ask for the best images of science, whether this means experiments, people doing science or how science impacts on our daily lives. Shortlisted images are shown at London’s Science Museum and other major venues. Learn more here.
Digital Imaging Group Online
The Digital Imaging Group (DIG) embraces all genres and styles of work and is a highly active group. It offers an online membership option which is ideally suited to RPS overseas members. An online member can engage fully with DIG by reading the various publications using page turning software and by joining meetings online. Learn more here.
Documentary Group Overseas Membership
Being a member of the documentary group has many benefits including entry to the Documentary Photographer of the Year competition and a bi-monthly online competition, as well subscription to a monthly emailed Newsletter and Decisive Moment quarterly online magazine. Learn more here.
