On my way to a printing conference in Portugal and came in through Porto to view a Portraits exhibition - a tribute to a true master. On view were portraits that capture the who's who of a generation. The power of a portrait before digital and without colour through the work of a maestro, capturing the essence of the sitter.
I am having a personal theme on truth and trust at the moment and the exhibition captured the spirit of this. He was a Leica guy and as I have a background in silver halide monochrome I felt an real connection with this work.
