To celebrate International Women’s Day today we are pleased to be launching a RPS Women in Photography Bursary.
Approximately 80% of photography students around the world are women, yet they account for only 15% of professional photographers.
The RPS Women in Photography Group in partnership with Karen Knorr HonFRPS, Honorary Chair, are launching a bursary to support a female, or female identifying, postgraduate student in the development of a first project upon leaving university.
Upon completion of the project, the recipient will present a body of work to the RPS Women in Photography Group and work with the RPS to share their project. The funds may be used for any project related expenses.
