Winners Announcement
Landscape Group Members submitted another stunning collection of images to the Landscape Group competition during January 2023.
1st Place
I took this image last December when we woke up to a blizzard, the heavy snow causing havoc on the roads. The date was 16th December, my daughter’s birthday and I was really disappointed that the weather conditions meant we couldn’t travel to visit her in Dundee, where she is a student. However, our dog still needed to be walked (actually, he loves wild weather – crazy springer spaniel!), and I took my camera with me. We walk him daily in an old Roman Fort in Braco, and most days, it’s not particularly photogenic. However, the fresh snow had rendered the scene in front of me very differently, and we enjoyed being the first footsteps in the deep snow. The trees were particularly pretty, with the snow hanging onto the branches where it had landed.
Taken with my Nikon z5 and 24-200mm lens, settings were 1/80, f5.3, ISO 200.’

How To Enter
RPS Landscape Group members may submit one jpg image, per month. Before submitting, please resize your image to no more than 2000px wide.
Members are able to add their own image on the monthly competition page by clicking on the 'Add Photo'. After loading the image please add the title and your name and do include your RPS distinction.
Winners and runners up will have their images displayed in RPS Landscape website, RPS Landscape Facebook and the RPS website.
All Landscape Group members will be invited to vote and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed winners will be announced on the RPS Landscape Group website and Facebook on the 1st of the month.
Open for entries 1st to 23rd.
Voting takes place 24th to 28th.
