Short Video Project
A New Creative Project for RPS Women in Photography
The RPS’s Women in Photography group is inviting its members to take part in an exciting new project — the Short Video Showcase. This is a chance to present your photography in a fresh, dynamic way, blending stills, video, sound, and text to create a short, engaging visual piece.
Your video could:
-
Showcase your photography and creative style
-
Tell a personal or documentary story
-
Experiment with editing, sequencing, and multimedia
Submissions will be shared with the RPS WIP community, where members can vote for their favourite entries — not to “win” a competition, but to acknowledge the skills and creativity behind them.
Why Take Part?
This is your chance to:
-
Explore fresh and creative ways to share your work
-
Strengthen your storytelling and presentation skills
-
Earn recognition from fellow RPS WIP members
-
Have your work showcased across RPS Women in Photography platforms
-
Connect and share with our inspiring community
The project is open to all RPS Women in Photography members, and the deadline for submissions is 1 November 2025.
Full details on how to take part can be found here: RPS WIP Short Video Showcase
“It’s not a competition — it’s a celebration of creativity, skill, and storytelling.” – Sue Wright, Chair, RPS Women in Photography
