News and Article Submissions

We encourage you to submit your news and articles for publication on the RPS Yorkshire site. Help us share the pleasure of photography across our region! Please refer to the following guidelines.

- No commercial promotion

- Submissions should be by email, through the link on this page. Also use this if you have any questions.

- Submissions should further the promotion of photography and are subject to the RPS Terms and Conditions.

- Please keep text concise and as short as possible.

- Include photographic images in your submission. Please provide photographer names so credit can be attributed on the website.

- Image resizing:

a) Hero images (the pillar box ones below page headers) should be a maximum of 2000px on the long side. Note because of the hero dimensions there needs to be a strong horizontal visual interest within the pillar box, or an abstract form.

b) All other images should be a maximum of 1400px on the long side. However, if submitting thumbnails, a minimum of 500px is suitable.

Please note that while we endeavour to publish your articles and news, the committee’s decision to reject anything unsuitable is final.
