New Projects 2025
RPS Digital Imaging
DI Workshops are pleased to announce the launch of several projects commencing in 2025. These initiatives promise to deliver an array of inspiring talks and some processing tutorials, designed to engage and educate participants.
The projects, MONO and ALTERNATIVE VIEW have proved very popular with lots of you registered to attend. They will feature a diverse lineup of presenters, each bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge in their respective subject. You can look forward to engaging presentations that will not only inform but also motivate. Our speakers will share their insights, experiences, and success stories, fostering a collaborative environment for learning new skills and techniques necessary. These 'Projects' cover a variety of topics, ensuring that there is something for everyone, regardless of their skill level.
A another Project, HOMEMADE BOOKS, will be launched in the new year, we are in the process of completing the lineup, but definitely have a series of workshops, Making Books with Alex Hare and Lizzie Shepherd, already in place, commencing in May. Other single workshops or a short series are displayed below.

Go to GET TICKETS, for your chosen event, register and pay and you will directly receive a confirmation email similar to this.
All the information you need for all the events is revealed by pressing the Blue Button, 'GO TO THE ONLINE EVENT PAGE'
You will then see something similar to this Screenshot below, showing any Zoom invites connected with the workshop or talk and the link for the associated Google Drive *, Any YouTube links, any recordings, and resources will be placed in this Google Drive.
*Google Drive is a cloud-based storage service that enables users to store and access files online, and share images with each other and the Tutors.
Google Drive has a sharing mode where everyone who has the link can access (or even edit) the shared file, without requiring a Google account at all.
You will receive further emails from Billetto, nearer to the event, to remind you of the date and time and the necessary links are shown again.
SIGNING UP FOR A BILLETTO ACCOUNT
Some of you don't realise that you should create account on Billetto, when you register for DI events, if you don't it means you cannot easily access the information to attend the Talk/Workshop you have purchased.

If you still feel unwilling to create a Billetto account, to receive the links, you will need to contact the DI Volunteer Coordinator, who will provide you with a shared link to access and copy the information to join workshops.

Getting Creative with Celia Henderson with Brushes, Patterns, Textures and Abstracts, Filters and Blend Modes. Two workshops Jan 14 & 16 with recordings available to rewatch and follow along at your own pace.
A discussion on the current state of AI as it relates to photography competitions. We'll discuss different categories and how their rules differ in terms of what is and isn't permitted, and also compare the rules from major bodies such as FIAP, PAGB, PSA etc. Send in your images and we'll edit them (or not) taking these different constraints into account and see what we can and can't do...
Paul will explore practical applications using the colour sliders, to create specific moods, fix challenging exposures, and enhance details in your images. Paul will demonstrate using Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) which is a powerful tool for processing and enhancing raw images so these workshops with be suitable for both PS and LR users.
