Landscape Group Project

The Landscape Group is excited to launch our 2027 calendar project, our third group calendar.
Submissions open from 1 May to 31 July 2026.
About the Project
Celebrating Our Members' Images

Many of us have calendars adorning our walls. In this digital age, there is still something reassuring about having inspiring images displayed on a printed calendar that we can admire every month throughout the year.
We want to celebrate the incredible images we see from our members on a regular basis by creating our third Landscape Group calendar.

How to Enter

David Travis ARPS
This is open to all Landscape Group members, and submissions run from 1 May to 31 July 2026.
You may submit up to four images per member. Images must be landscape format, 3:2 aspect ratio and 2000px wide; if one of your images is selected, we will require a full resolution file. Images must have been taken between 1 January 2025 and 31 July 2026. This year the calendar will be landscape format, as shown above.
Images must be season and month appropriate and must comply with the group's landscape photography definition →.
All compliant images, including for example architecture and the built environment, are allowed, but there must be a seasonal element to them. We encourage submissions from members wherever you are based, though we would like images that are Northern Hemisphere appropriate for each month.
Twelve images will be chosen, one for each month, by a panel of judges. Only one month can be won per member.
The twelve winners will each receive a free calendar, as well as the pride of having their image shown for a whole month.

Pricing
Costs
We ask for prepayment for the calendar so that we can determine the size of the print run and cover our costs. More than one calendar may be ordered. Prices include postage.
International shipping and customs-related costs have increased significantly, and international prices have therefore been adjusted to reflect the additional cost of fulfilment.

FAQs and Further Information

Do I have to register to purchase a calendar?
Only Landscape Group members can enter images for possible inclusion, but we would like to make the calendar more widely available. We hope to open calendar sales to everyone after submissions have closed and judging has been completed. This will include all RPS members as well as the general public.
What does "season and month appropriate" mean?
Images must include an obvious element related to the specified season or month. Clear examples would be snow for winter, or fallen leaves for autumn. We reserve the right to allocate a selected image to another suitable month. For example, if your image includes snow and was submitted for March but is selected, we may decide it is more suitable for January or February.
What is a seasonal element for architecture and built environment images?
Examples include images containing people, where clothing may suggest the season, or trees and plants, where colour may provide a seasonal clue. As we know, clear blue skies or heavy rain can occur at any time of year.
