Mini-Project

Seeing in Sixes

A mini-project challenge inviting members to create a cohesive set of six landscape images around one clear theme. Inspired by LensWork's Seeing in Sixes, it rewards concise visual storytelling and stylistic consistency. Selected sets will feature in a 10th Anniversary e-zine and online.

18-Month Programme

The Projects Project

Develop your own landscape project over eighteen months, with expert Zoom talks, peer-support sessions, recorded content and a final showcase. Whether you already have an idea or are still searching for one, the programme helps you shape and sustain a body of work over time.

Calendar 2027

Our second Landscape Group calendar, celebrating the strongest images our members share throughout the year. In a digital age there is still something reassuring about inspiring photographs on a printed wall calendar to enjoy every month, and members are warmly invited to contribute.

Touring Exhibition

Members' Outdoor Exhibition

A large-scale touring exhibition of members' prints across many panels and several cities, bringing landscape work to a wider public. The online gallery gathers the displayed images and links to the exhibiting photographers' own websites. With thanks to volunteers across the Group and RPS Regions.

A collaboration with the RPS Audio-Visual Group, exploring audio-visual presentation as an engaging, meaningful way to show landscape photography. The project ran during 2024.

The Shipping Forecast Project

Capturing the seventeen coastlines, and the islands within them, of the shipping-forecast sea areas around Great Britain and Ireland. Entries closed at the end of March 2024.

The Zine Project

Self-published photo zines: a low-tech, do-it-yourself way to get a photographic project seen, enjoyed today by photographers of every standing and genre. The project finished in December 2023.
