A complete photographic day
How does the landscape change over the course of a single day?
This World Photography Day, we're inviting every member of the RPS Landscape Group to help create a photographic record of one complete day around the world.
The idea is simple: take a landscape photograph on 19 August during any hour of the day. Your image will represent the hour in which it was taken.
The aim is not for each person to photograph every hour (although overachievers may want to see how many hours they can cover on their own). The aim is for all of us, together, to create a complete photographic day.

How to take part
On 19 August, take a landscape photograph during any hour of the day. Your image will represent the hour in which it was taken. You can submit one image or several, and smartphone images are welcome.
When you upload your photograph, simply tell us:
The time
The time the photograph was taken (for example, 2:30 pm).
The location
The general location where the photograph was taken (for example, 'New York' or 'the Lake District').
Whether your landscape is a mountain, woodland, coastline, city, national park, desert, a holiday destination or simply a park or garden close to home, your contribution will help tell the story.
