WE ARE

The Women in Photography Magazine

What's Your Favourite Photobook?

At WE ARE Magazine, we like to celebrate and showcase the amazing, diverse work of women photographers.

In the forthcoming September issue of the magazine, we invite you to share your favourite photobook by a female or female-identifying photographer. Whether it's a powerful collection of portraits, breathtaking landscapes, witty street photography, or thought-provoking documentary images, we want to hear about the photobook you appreciate the most.

By submitting your recommendation, you're not only amplifying these photographers' voices but also enabling others to discover their work.

Use the Google Form below to explain what the book is about and share how and why it has inspired you.

If enough submissions are received, we will publish them in a collective feature in the magazine.

Please send in your submission by 21st July. Email wipmagazine@rps.org in case of any questions.

One Thing I Know: A Collective Feature

In the next issue of WE ARE Magazine, we'd like to explore the many valuable lessons we can learn about life, art, and the wider world from our practice as photographers.

In a collective feature called “One Thing I Know”, we're inviting WIP members to share an insight learned through photography, irrespective of genre or experience. It needn’t be long – you only have 1,000 characters! – but it should be meaningful to you.  Submission deadline: 14th July 2024
