The Germany Chapter, founded in 2009, offers its members a platform for joint activities in all areas of photography. This includes the planning, organization, and realization of meetings, advisory days to gain distinction as well as collective exhibitions on various topics. Meetings are usually held in Dortmund, this being the most central area for a widely distributed membership.
The main objective of the German Chapter is, according to the Royal Charter, to promote the interest of the general public in photography and to increase their knowledge and understanding.
This is achieved by participating in joint projects with schools, museums, and other institutions.
Additionally, the Chapter offers internal training and exchange of experience to develop further the knowledge and skills of its members in the field of digital and analog photography.
We call on all members to actively support the Chapter and to contribute their own ideas and specific suggestions to the process.
Furthermore, we hope for numerous participation in all projects. In this context, the Chapter publishes several times a year an e-Magazine, in which the current events, as well as planned activities, are pointed out. We also report on technical innovations and the latest techniques in image creation and processing.
Therefore, be engaged, be inspired, be part of it! - The Germany Chapter
