Germany Chapter

What we do!

The Germany Chapter, founded in 2009, offers its members a platform for joint activities in all areas of photography. This includes the planning, organization, and realization of meetings and advisory days to gain distinction, as well as collective exhibitions on various topics. Meetings are usually held in Dortmund, this being the most central area for a widely distributed membership.

According to the Royal Charter, the main objective of the German Chapter is to promote the general public's interest in photography and increase their knowledge and understanding.
This is achieved by participating in joint projects with schools, museums, and other institutions.

Additionally, the Chapter offers internal training and an exchange of experience to develop its members' knowledge and skills in digital and analogue photography further.

We call on all members to actively support the Chapter and to contribute their ideas and specific suggestions to the process.

Furthermore, we hope for widespread participation in all projects. In this context, the Chapter publishes an e-magazine several times a year, highlighting current events and planned activities. We also report on technical innovations and the latest image creation and processing techniques.

Therefore, be engaged, be inspired, be part of it! - The Germany Chapter
