Leading Lines

In photography, composition is king. And one of the most powerful tools for creating a strong composition is leading lines. These elements within your frame guide the viewer's eye around the image, drawing their attention to a specific point or subject.

Imagine a winding path through a forest. That path is a leading line, naturally taking your eyes deeper into the scene. In photography, leading lines can be anything from a winding road to a row of telephone poles, the edge of a river, or even the architectural lines of a building.

Here's why leading lines are so important:

Direct Attention: They tell the viewer where to look first and guide them on a visual journey through your photo.

Create Interest: Leading lines add dynamism and energy to a composition, making it more engaging.

Enhance the Subject: By leading the eye to your main subject, you make it stand out even more.
