Sweeping Tide Eigg by Steve Hunter FRPS
Taken on Laig Bay Beach on the Isle of Eigg in Scotland, when the weather and the sea was incredibly changeable. The light was dark and moody which captured the mood so well. The sweeping tide was absolutely wonderful, creating an amazing curved pattern with Rum on the horizon. I waded in and planted my tripod well into the moving sands, with an exposure of around 1 second, taken as the tide ebbed to capture both the flow and patterns of the fast flowing sea.
