Past Projects and Events

September 2025  Shoot + Zine Workshop in Plymouth

The participants used their iphones to shoot pictures around the Barbican in the morning and then used them to make a zine in the afternoon, using a web app on their phones and tablets called Shrimpzine. Although the day started with rain, the attendees were blessed with sunshine whilst taking their photos. It was an excellent day, full of enthusiasm, and everyone produced their own Zine. 

Autumn 2025 - Talk-Walk-Talk - Inland Water

As usual we met up to review the walks and choose images to represent them. The resulting zine for all the South West walks can be seen here and the national zine here. There are also separate zines for the Jericho Valley walk and the Avon River & Reservoir walk.

August 2025 - World Photography Day 

We had 15 Members of the RPS South West Region taking up the challenge of taking a photograph on 19th August 2025 which was World Photography Day.  You can view these images on ISSUU as a Flip Book or click HERE to view a PDF document of all the images.

2025 - South West Coast Path Competition

South West members took part in this and winners will be announced in spring 2026.

Spring 2025 - Talk-Walk-Talk - Parks and Gardens

We met in Bovey Tracey to view everyone's photos and select ones for each walk. The resulting South West zine can be seen here and the national one here.
