London Midweek Explorers Field Trips (3rd week)

Twitter Captial London
London, Midweek Explorers (Photowalk)

London Midweek explorers was established to fit a gap in our programme, which was that we had no mid-week day-time events.  We meet monthly in the third week of the month but rotate the days to give people the chance to fit the walks in around their other commitments and attend at least once or twice quarter.

The meetups are normally in three parts:  a photo walk of about two hours followed by lunch and in the afternoon, an option to visit a photo Exhibition together.  Members are welcome to come for all three parts of the walk, or just one!   Exhibitions visited have included our own RPS London Region Exhibition, Don McCullen at the Tate, Martin Parr at The National Gallery and again our own RPS TotallyThames Outdoor Exhibition in Putney - and more.

Anyone is welcome to come:  the walks are free but clearly lunch is at the participants' expenses and there may (or may not) be an entry fee for the Exhibitions. To see a listing of planned walks / events - go here

Walks are usually designed and led by Roger Towell (londonurban@rps.org) with support from Judy and/or David Hicks (Londonro2@rps.org and london@rps.org)
