For anyone passionate about audio-visual storytelling, the event at the Film Factory isnʼt just a venue, itʼs a stage for your next masterpiece and place where a warm welcome and advice will be freely available from a range of like-minded AV experts and enthusiasts.
You can just show your AV for the enjoyment of the other attendees, or you can ask that critique be given from our expert AV workers in the audience.
The AV's can be a finished version or work in progress. The choice is yours.
They can be shown in standard HD or 4K. (MP4 format only please, not exe files).
AV's will be shown on a first-come basis depending on how many we get and the overall run-time.
When you have booked your tickets, you will be sent information on how to submit your AV.
TALKS
The day will feature talks from leading AV and film workers:
Paul Kittel, who will be talking about film and how it aligns with AV and story telling; with examples on the big screen.
Colin Balls, one of the UK's leading AV workers, will be talking about and showing some of his best-ever AV's.
John Smith, from the L&CPU and Wilmslow AV group will be demonstrating sound editing and Audacity.
It's a chance to meet and talk to some of the country's top AV workers and meet other AV enthusiasts and friends from the AV world face to face, rather than in front of a Zoom window.
