ESPACIO GALLERY - 12th to 16th April 2023 - Open Evening Wednesday 12th 7 - 9pm

Welcome to our London Region member Print Exhibition (LRMPE) 2023.  This year we have nearly 100 images from 100 Members - plus 50 images from FotoKlub, Split, Croatia.

LONDON MEMBERS

The photographers attended and submitted four images to one of our three selection mornings held in November and early December 2022.  The people present in each selection day voted in two rounds to short-list two images from each photographers then to choose a preferred (or "selected") image from each photographer.

Each photographer has got an image in the exhibition and this has resulted in a wide range of genres, subjects and styles.  The photographers ranged from very experienced (including FRPS) to some who are just starting their photographic journey.  Some are exhibiting for the first time!

FOTOKLUB SPLIT

FotoKlub Split was founded in 1911 and in 2014 was recognized by the Croatian Ministry of Culture as a protected part of the nation's cultural heritage.  It has a permanent exhibition gallery on Split's main shopping street and we displayed part of our LRMPE 2022 exhibition there in September 2022.

Following our successful exhibition in Split last year, we have invited FotoKlub split to exhibit at our exhibition this year so we have 50 images from their members.

London Exhibitions

The London Region holds an annual exhibition and the sub- and micro-groups also hold exhibitions from time to time in local Libraries, Cafes and Hospitals/Hospital Galleries.  We usually select images for exhibition by Members' votes and try to ensure that all who have submitted have at least one picture in each Exhibition.
