Benefits of joining the Audio Visual Group

  1. Events and Workshops We are now running Face to Face and Zoom Events throoughout the year.
  2. AV World e-xtra and AV News An online newsletter and a Yearly Printed copy of AV News Magazine
  3. International AV Festival We organise the RPS International AV Festival (IAVF) showcasing the best of AV's around the world
  4. National AV Championship We organise the RPS National AV Festival (NAVC) showcasing the best of AV's around the UK
  5. Multimedia Distinctions The group supports members who wish to gain distinctions by offering Advisory Days and on line critiques
  6. Overseas organisations We have extensive contacts with AV work abroad. A number of members have had notable successes in AV Festivals abroad
  7. Committee The AV group is managed by a Committee of eleven members.

  10. Dobson Henry Medal For members of the AV community (RPS or not) the committee can award the Dobson Henry Medal to people who have made an outstanding contribution or given long service to AV. Go to the Special Awards Page
  11. George Pollock Medal This special medal to commemorate the outstanding contribution Sir George & Lady Doreen Pollock made to the Audio Visual Group. Go to the Special Awards Page
  12. AV Groups Since Covid Zoom meetings have been very popular. We now have on our site an AV Map of Groups some of which meet face to face and some via Zoom.
