The Dobson Henry Medal and George plus Doreen Pollock Medals
The Sir George and Lady Doreen Pollock Medal
In 2007 the RPS Audio Visual Group Committee commissioned the design and manufacture of a special enamelled medal to commemorate the outstanding contribution that Sir George and Lady Doreen Pollock have made to the Audio Visual Group.
The medal is to be awarded primarily for 'Restricted Category/First Time Entrant' at either the NAVC or the IAVF. This would be awarded in line with the RPS AV Group's requirements i.e. to be awarded to a first time entrant who had not won any other award in a previous Festival/Competition.
Sir George Pollock (1928-2016)
Sir George was at one time a leading exponent of audio-visual work, an accomplished art photographer and a past President of the Royal Photographic Society. Please click on the following links.
