Benefits of joining the Audio Visual Group

  1. AV News Magazine We produce a magazine called AV News 3 times yearly
  2. AV News e-xtra An online news letter
  3. International AV Festival We organise the RPS International AV Festival (IAVF) showcasing the best of AV's around the world
  4. National AV Championship We organise the RPS National AV Festival (NAVC) showcasing the best of AV's around the UK
  5. Multimedia Distinctions The group supports members who wish to gain distinctions by offering Advisory Days and on line critiques
  6. Overseas organisations We have extensive contacts with AV work abroad. A number of members have had notable successes in AV Festivals abroad
  7. Committee The AV group is managed by a Committee of eight members.

  9. Facebook There is also an AV News Facebook page for latest news and comments
  10. Dobson Henry Medal For members of the AV community (RPS or not) the committee can award the Dobson Henry Medal to people who have made an outstanding contribution or given long service to AV. Go to the Special Awards Page

  12. Regional Groups Some regional groups also hold workshop days or meetings where there is an opportunity to hear notable speakers and a chance to show sequences and get comments.
